about me

I’m a tech person with a passion for art and aesthetics. My main passion is for 35mm photography. I own a Nikon F3 that I love dearly as well as multiple point and shoot cameras, including multiple Olympus Mju cameras. I love the analog nature of 35mm film- it allows people to slow down in a world that constantly wants us moving to the next thing.

My photos emphasize the beauty of the natural world and little moments that you hardly notice. In a world where everything and everyone is constanlty vying for your attention, I hope you stop to look around once in a while.

I’m currently employed at HashiCorp, an IBM Company, as a Resident Solutions Engineer. I work directly with clients to help them work with HashiCorp products and instill a culture of best practices.

I gratuated from the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in Computer Science and Psychology. I’ve always been interested in the meeting point between humans and the technology we use. My undergraduate research was in Cognitive Psychology and causal decision making. As part of my senior thesis for my Psychology degree, I wrote on creating AI with less implicit bias.

I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with my beloved cat Mystie. Send me an email at the link above or text me at (610) 442-6063. I’d love to chat about pretty much anything.
